Game Finds - Cars: Race O Rama

(Rated E)
Picked up "Cars: Race O Rama" at the Flea Market in a trade today. Daemion only played for just a few minutes because we need to put as much time as possible into Smash Bros. 64 and Epic Mickey right now. He said the game was pretty good, but a little difficult to control.

Not really a find, but we also purchased 1000 points at the DSiShop to download Mario vs Donkey Kong: Minis March Again for Daemion, and Mahjong for Holly. So far everyone likes them.

Well, the kids finally got to sleep, I'm about to go play some Mario vs Donkey Kong for a few minutes. It kinda reminds me of a game I used to play a while back called Lemmings.
Have a good night everyone!

Daemion's Mario Kart Wii Tournament Time #2

Grab your coins on [SNES Battle Course 4].
Which route is the fastest on this maze-like course?
Ends on 3-9-11

Daemion worked real hard to get this time. He tried probably around ten times before he was happy with it. It's partly my fault as to why he felt the need to get a better time. See, when the Tournament was first announced and we got the message on our Wii, I read it and started the Tournament. The bad part was I signed into Daemion's account because I wanted to use the secret character "Boo" to race. Now the time that I got is at the top of the list of times after you finish a Tournament race. Even when you go to send in a time that isn't as good, it still sends the fastest time made.
That's why you don't see a picture of the time he sent in that has the ranking with everyone in the world. All we have is the time he had just as the race was finished. I promise this won't happen again!

Daemion said: "It was a little hard this time.. lots of hard turning"

Monthly Old-School Favorite - Super Mario 64 (N64)

[March Old-School Favorite]
Super Mario 64 was a launch title for the Nintendo64 back on June 23, 1996 in Japan, September 29, 1996 in North America, March 1, 1997 in Europe/Australia and September 1,
1997 in France.

The N64 was leaps and bounds better than Nintendo's previous systems. I had first read about the system in a magazine(EGM?) in the News stand isle at our local Grocery Store back when I was a kid. I was floored when I saw some pictures of what the new Mario game was going to look like. I wasn't able to get the system when it first launched for various reasons, mainly being 16 without a job. For weeks I had seen and heard all sorts of stuff about the new Nintendo system and the awesome new 3-D games that were out for it. With the system being released in September, it was looking like Christmas before I could get my hands on one. All my friends were either Sega fans or played PC games only. I was a lone Nintendo fan, and didn't even have the newest system to enjoy. I had even dropped many hints to my parents over and over about wanting one. They just kept saying, "you know what times of the year you can get things like that". I could remember getting our new Super Nintendo with Super Mario World years before, oh how I could taste it again.
